I just remembered that we made a profile for this site.  I don't feel like working at the moment so I'm going to write something here.

Nathan and I originally made this page because we thought that we were going to be moving to the east coast for law school and this was going to be the easiest way to keep people updated with what's going on.  Well that didn't happen at all so now it seems kind of worthless.....except for when I don't feel like working!  :)

I am stressed out with life and tired.  I work about 80 hours a week (not by necessity or choice but because I have no other option.....my job has to get done) and hate it.  I like my job, but not the hours it requires.

That's all....

Nathan and I went to the Trinity School benefit auction tonight.  It was a lot of fun and it's always good to see all the people there that we know.  This is Mr. Bently's last year, so it was extra special.  Nathan and I were video taped a couple weeks ago talking about how we met in third grade, what Trinity gave to us, and how much we love Mr. Bently.  It was a good idea to help get people to give more money!!!  ha ha ha.

Well, life is good (usually), my job is fabulous, Nathan's closer to getting to three more years of school, and.....well I can't think of anything else.

***It was Nathan's idea to have a pink entry.  He LOVES pink!!!!

Obviously life has been really busy since I haven't put an entry in for a month!  Actually, I just enjoy the lazy time I get at when I get off work.  Nathan and I have been doing really well.  Nathan has pretty much decided that he will go to law scool at Creighton.  I think that if we are where God wants us to be, that's the best place in the world.

My job is fabulous and busy.  I love where I work and I love the challenge it gives me.  I also LOVE not being in school anymore and doing the "real world" thing.  Nathan is excited to wrap up his senior year of college and then start law school. I will be happy when it is over.  I have heard many times that it is rough when your spouse is in law school.  But we'll make it just fine.

Other than that, there's not a whole lot to report.  But I will make sure to put entries on here more often than once a month!

Last night I decided to have a small dinner party at our house.  I have to asy, cooking a big dinner in an apartment kitchen is really quite frustrating.  Not enough counter space and when you turn around, your always bumping into something, someone, or the cat.  AAHHH.  It didn't help that I burned my arm while cooking using oil.  Yep...it splattered and I now have third degree burns on my forearm.  Yeah... But it was fun nonetheless.  Kaylynn and her sister came and I also had my dad over sine his wife is gone during the weeks and I'm sure he gets bored and a little lonely.  Then my dad put up our blinds and curtains after dinner.  Thank God!  We have been without them since we have been living here.  And let me tell you, no window coverings for newlyweds is NOT a good idea.  We have been quite an obscene couple occupying apartment 1812!!!  But, thankfully for our neighbors and all others walking around our place, not anymore!  Love you, Leslee (hey...let me know if anyone else we know uses xanga).

Oh Yeah!  I forgot to add this...I thought that I was pregnant and found out that (THANKFULLY) we will not be having a child within the next 9 months.  Regardless, that was one of the scariest things that I have been thinking about the last 2 weeks.  Now would not be a good time at all to have children adn we are fervently praying against it (not to mention that we are using "other" methods to prevent pregnancy).

WOO HOO!  I got a job!  I had an interview last night at Midland Scientific (a lab equipment distributor) and they said that they are actually creating a job position for me.  It sounds like it will be a lot of fun and sounds like I will have a lot of responsbility.  It's great pay and even better benefits (they pay for my entire health care plan).  I am praying that it will be a great job and help us with building our savings account.

Nathan is in the final process of applying to law schools and I think he is getting a little stressed about it.  He'll do fine though.  Yet still...it's getting harder and harder for me to think of moving away from Omaha, our friends, and family.  Everyday gets worse.  But if we are where God wants us to be, that's where I want to be.  It just could be really difficult.
